There are no words to convey the sadness that I and my family feel for all Ukrainians - in my home town in the UK we have been collecting clothes, food, medication, toys for kids etc and a large truck recently left Portsmouth on its way to help you all. We will keep you always in our prayers and thoughts. Stay strong!

putin lost his mind long time ago. he is an absolute evil and there are not too many people who can deny that. i am just wondering about all those soldiers which are coming to kill innocent people (especially little kids): can they sleep at night after that? do they understand what they are doing and what are the reasons behind that?

I'm so sorry that you, your family, your country have got to go through this. I'm still shocked and I absolutely cannot imagine how you feel.

There's a huge Ukrainian community in my country, Portugal. Most people arriving there now have family waiting, but those who don't are welcome and given shelter.

In Brazil, where I live, a "desinformation" campaign exists and was effective in the beginning calling the invasion "justified" due to "the nuclear threat", which made me furious and on a mission to set the record straight. Since it turned into more than a war - with so many fleeing, so much suffering - people here are starting to open their eyes.

Also, your president, Zelensky doesn't let the world forget you. Because of him and your people's courage, there are shows of support all over and governments have been pressed to change politics and do in fact something.

I fear WW III has just begun, though I keep hoping this ends soon and with your victory. You have my deepest respect.

On the first day I was able to get money to a journalist to help fund firearms for civilians and since then I've donated to Chef Jose Andres World Kitchen- he was on the ground on Day Two at the border feeding refugees and he'll be there as long as his team is needed. A lot of people are paying for phantom AirBnB stays in Ukraine to help keep the economy afloat, so I did that. My next donation will be for medical supplies after I check with Charity Navigator. If I was a praying person I'd pray for jets.

American here and I can fully confirm the United States of America is against this invasion. I'm sorry Ukrainians have had their lives destroyed by a dictator named Putin. Keep up the fight and stay as strong as you can!
