It is working just fine in HTC P3300. Installed over the old version. Looks faster to me.

Hmmm,

I installed over the previous version.

I followed the steps detailed in the .nfo file (regarding the sequence of cabs to be installed).

I installed to my SD card, and all seemed well. But I did not see the app icon in start-programs. So I did a SR, and still the icon did not appear.

So I uninstalled, and installed the original files, and used an older keygen.

Installation was successful, registration was successful, but I see a "demo" message in the maps.

I uninstalled, reinstalled with these files, but I still did not see the app icon in the start-programs screen (although they did appear in the start-settings-remove apps list).

Any ideas?

Thank you.

This is because the releaser didn't include any shortcut in the .CAB file, if You really miss that application icon (shortcut), You can create one using ActiveSync or any "normal" file manager like TotalCommander, the shortcut should point to the "OziExploresCE.exe" and You need to put in the \Windows\StartMenu\Programs folder.

If there's no app icon included, how will the app be executed?
Am I missing something here?

(I do understand the shortcut creation process).

Further, regarding the keygen, it's interesting that even though the user + password (which are device-ID dependent) were accepted, the map background still shows "demo". I don't recall that this happened in the past.

The release made by ShareFree is crippled and has limited functionality: original exe has 1,280,512 bytes.
ShareFree patched has only: 486,912 bytes.
The protection scheme is under 100k, so the ShareFree release is limited and take away some functionality which they could not full patch.

That is why I'm glad to offer here for PPCWarez the real thing: full 2.01 Developer Edition with real and verified working licence.
I uploaded original exe installer, cabs and real licence here:
