All this has to do with the registry key "IsOtherSIP" that I've mentioned in the 2nd post. If this key is set as "1", then EzInput will relent.

For this key to be written as "1" by EzInput, it has to be loaded to memory (selected) first and then another SIP selected afterwords. If Swype is selected first without loading EzInput, you will get the symptoms because this key is being written as "0" upon every soft-reset.

After reading this, I´m really glad heaving an Omnia2.
Just open SK-Tools - change default SIP and be very happy.

Yes that's true alta, but having owned an Omnia 2 myself before...good luck getting rid of all that Samsung crapware

Not difficult, several roms are available without the Samsung and Verizon branded apps

the german (It,Eng) (w)qvga version from page 5 works perfect, tahnx a lot.
there´s only one little problem: when you press the "3" in the sym-page, it writes "%". the same in the abc-page whne you hold down "z" (it´s qwertz), it writes "%" instead of "3". (it´s qwertz).
can i relink, or correct this?

Works great for me. The issue of the SIP changing after soft reset doesn't bother me much since I rarely soft reset my phone. Besides, it doesn't take too much effort to switch to Swype. I think I am getting too used to Swype when I start doing exactly that on my pc keyboard.

I don't have the skills to extract it...the only cab I found didn't work..
I heard feedback that it works a lot better than the 3.9.10 version...

Maybe someone can do the magic that was done for 3.9.10 to make it installable...

ive installed it, without deinstalling my old working swype with german dictionary. the old location of swype was Windows/swype.

installed duttys version on the storage card. after rebooting, ive got the new swype version with vibration and fixed problems, like holding keys and getting alternative inputs.

Well, yes, it does work. It also changes the ModelName.txt to "T-Mobile_LEO" which for some people seems to cause problems. I've never had any problems, it just requires re-configuring the Data Connection Setup. I haven't witnessed any ill-effects myself.

Anyways, it would be nice to have a cracked version as this version is far superior, imho.

I do not know other sources but dutty but I looked at it and it seems not much tweaked. At any rate here it is, hope it can be useful.
