HERE is the modified version.

Install 1.6 and copy this over it. You will have to kill the voicecmd process first, which runs when the install finishes. Also, delete the shortcut in the /windows/startup folder. Memmaid makes this easy.

Hello,
It works fine on my HTC TyTN (WM5), but it takes a lot memory, am I right, or it's happening only for me?

An also I installed the firstly announced version, and I installed on my storage card. Was it a problem? should I overwrite it with the secondly uploaded file?

thanks,
Rob

Uses about 1.5mb (MemMaid) of program memory when not in use. Not too much, especially for a program like this one...

You absolutely MUST install to main memory because the storage card isn't available at boot when VC runs.

I checked with the same program you mentioned, memmaid: VoiceCmd.exe 3.49MB (memory usage). :(
What did I wrong, Is there any option, I can set to use less memory?
If not, than I should chose If I want to use it or not. :(

Anyway, if I forgot to thanks about the upload, than I do it now. Thank you about this upload!

Thnaks,
Rob

I installed already on the storage card. I had 2 soft reset, and still loaded and working.
Maybe it works for everybody!
A good option, to increase free main memory.
I tried and it wors for me!

Point is how quick SD card interface is activated during boot process on UR device. I have never had any problems with SD card installation and I tried it with 6 devices. My advice is to try SD card installation first - if it works leave it that way.

No you don't. That's why I modified the .exe. If you just install to the card, you may have problems on boot. If you use the .exe I provided, it will not create a startup shortcut, and you can run it only when you need it. Of course, once you run it, it will sit in memory until your next reset.

Okay, I'm not able to get Voice Command to use my bluetooth headset. Does need to set up anything to do so?
I even did a hard reset (clear storage), installed JUST MS Voice Command V1.6 on my Tytn, and then paired with the headset.
When trying to spawn voice command, I hear the audio connection starting, but that's pretty much it. After 10 seconds, it disconnects.
Ideas?
