I didn't pray for Ukraine, I sent money to the International Rescue Comittee. It's my personal belief that prayers do nothing, direct action is required i.e. money, emails to our governments.

I put my trust in prayers than the latter doing anything more than sanctions. The governments will give their speeches but Pultin will still be eating lobsters. In the end he will die & then the prayers of judgment from God will be upon him with no escape.

Wish I could do more, mate. It's absolutely horrific. Just know that everyone in my country (the UK) fully supports the Ukraine. Ukrainian flags are flying everywhere in my town, Ukranian refugees are coming to stay here, too. We're doing everything we can. I know that means very little to you, given that you are living in a warzone, but I hope that its at least slightly reassuring to know that the entire world is on your side. Hopefully the western governments grow a pair and do what needs to be done.

Difference is, Bush is no longer in power and hasn't been for over a decade. Putin will have complete and total control of Russia until the day he dies.

Long before finding this thread, just days after the initial invasion, I thought the best way to help Ukraine was to donate money directly to the Ukraiinian military, as killing Russians is the best way to prevent Ukrainians from being killed or injured or displaced.

I have donated enough to buy several thousand rounds of 7.62×39mm ammunition; of course what the Ukraine government chooses as it's priority to spend it on is up to them.
