Do you make it a point to ensure all file host sites used in this forum work with the downloader? If a file host does not, do you correct that if brought to your attention?

There is a list of filehosts we support (you can find it in the first post of this topic), and every release in Android will have two filehosts from that list, whereas in eBooks all releases from Major Releasers and Moderators will have at least one.

Why not have a policy that requires all uploaders to post at least one Downloader link? That being said, what percentage of ebook posts would you say don't have any?

Because the Section Head of eBooks decided that this would make it easier for new users to share books. In Android, for various reasons, this seems to be less of an issue. Either way though, as a result of the number of filehosts we support, even if the user posting is not a Major Releaser, chances are the links in his/her post will still be supported. As to the percent of unsupported releases, I just browsed around the latest couple pages in eBooks and couldn't find any.

Why didn't I know about this sooner. I found this by accident and tried the trial to see what it was like. After using it, I had to have it to avoid all the crappy ads. Best money spent for straight downloads.
