I had loads of problems with 988 so lets hope this update fixes all of that!

FlexMail_WM5.CAB

Enjoy! Old SN still works.

Me too having problems with 998 ....

But 1st of all ... my problem is that it spent about 4 minutes for receiving the message list before to start the messages download ....

What I saw is that it scans everytime all the messages on the POP server, even if it's setted to download only 7 days in the past messages ... and didn't keep track of the messages just scanned .... :(
This way for me it's too slow in getting post messages.
Standard Outlook on WM5 it's almost fast BUT didn't has the advanced settings into leave the messages on server so if I use it then I must syncronize via Active Sync PPC and Desktop in order to have the messages on the main desktop cause this last one didn't found anymore the new messages on the POP server ......

At last ... a big problem .... must try different programs ... any suggestion ??

Thanks very much

@emariu,

check with your operator. In the past, my operator had smtp.movistar.com, and I could send messages with a different "reply to" address.

Then - probably due to anti-spam issues - they make me use the smtp address of my ISP.Tthat's fine, but with my work account, since there's no field for domain in flexmail (domain\user doesn't work) I can't relay messages. I can though, with other smtp servers I have accounts with, where there is no specific domain name.

So, if you have a domain specified, it won't work. If you don't need to specify a domain, go to outgoing server settings of the account in question, key in the smtp address in the first line, and tick "authentification required", then in these settings, select "use same settings as incoming mail server"

Thinking it was the build you talk about .... I overwritten my 1066
Anyway .. PocketLand too still have 998.

Please let me know where to download 1336.

build 1336 is a public beta of the imminent next version, I wouldn't recommend it. There seem to be a lot of random bugs.

They are up to 1385 on public beta releases, check the webis forum page (flexmail2006 section), and then the post "Issues With Flexmail 2007 Beta Revision 2 Public Review".

I've got build 1066, got it from the webis d/l page...

If you can't find it by Saturday, I'll upload it then.

I know, the official release is build 998, but me, having tested 1066, must say that this last one is more stable and works generally better, even if randomly it close itself turning back to the Today screen. So, thought, 1336 could be better and solving some known issues.

I read Wednesday the topic you refer about build 1385 and seems it has re-intoduced some bugs solved in previous releases....

Anyway, really hope this prog. will arrives quickly to a stable state, cause this way it's an odyssey to work with it
