why does this require so mny old installs to get this working? I just am not sure what makes this particulr prgram like this versus the many others which have a new cracked version for each.

The lower version let you register with your own register code which I think it's much much better than crack or using another's person name and register. And another point is: the register code only works for that version, if u try to put that register code to newer version, it wont' work.
But if we install the newer version to that lower version, we are still stay register. That's great, right

to mdaii: this version still doesn't support you to send message when you are offline or sending message to someone who is offline, but as I know, the pocket msn can let you talk to someone who is offline but he/she needs to send u the message 1st

Resco Registry is the best and one of the few that supports importing.

This version doesn't work properly on my Wizard. It runs fine but once you sign onto a service it goes up to 100% CPU utilization and it pretty much locks up the system. Version 4.23 used to be working fine for me until it stopped receiving messages on AIM.

Anyone get this working with their Wizard??

I'm also getting the error "An unknown error occurred while accessing \Storage Card\Program Files\IMPlus\\settings.im." (Notice the two forward slashes in a row) Anyone else getting this message?? Does this error message occur if the program is installed into main memory instead of storage card??

UPDATE

I let it sit for a little bit. It went into sleep mode. Power it back on, get the above error message, click OK and now CPU utilization is back to normal. And I can see a buddylist and everything appears to be working fine. I'm even getting incoming messages now.

I just closed IM+ and re-opened it and its locking up at 100% again. It will continue to freeze until the error message pops up. As soon as I click OK then it drop CPU to normal again.

SUMMARY

There is a bug with this version that causes the software to lock up looking for a file using a bad address. It will lock up for a set period of time then submit an error message then run normally.

Is there any way I can use a proxy with IM+? I dial my gprs connection, it's connected, but in order to use my internet programs I need to enter a proxy inside the config of each program. I guess IM+ doesn't have that option, from what I'm seeing in the configure tab. The browser Netfront does come with such option, for instance. Does anyone know a way to do this with IM+ or is there any other soft like it that will let me input the proxy and port I use?

Cheers.

I've just done it, and it worked just fine for me. Did you use 12345 as suggested? Cause I did, and it worked like a charm.

Cheers.
