Remote Desktop v2.0
Requirements: Windows CE 3.0 with Internet connection.

Dont you guys know how to forward ports on standard routers?
It somtimes called "Virtual servers", basically all you need to do is assign a static IP to your desktop computer. Then set it to accept incoming RDP sessions (XP Pro only!). Then open a port or "Virtual server" to that static IP over the correct port (3389 i think?) You can also change the port, and forward that one instead (slightly mroe secure)
This way, you can used RDP frmo anywhere in the world , so long as you know your IP address

hi i just tried this on my WM5 device, it works fine on wi-fi through my router, thanks lifehacker!
the installation makes two exe's on my device, so if you have both, try both, because only one works for me, and one gets network error!
Also check the username/password are correct, because some people can be very stupid...

I use logmein.com (free edition) on all my PC's and it has a client for PPC that works a treat.
http://secure.logmein.com/dmcq/controlpda.html
It's all free, fast ,secure and doesn't need any router port fiddling

I have been using this daily to log into my work server, to use some web based software that wont run on my Mogul. It works great through a "sonicewall" firewall on 2003 SBE.

whenever i log in my remote desktop (i.e my home computer) using my pda, the user at the home computer logs out unless he/she logs in again (in which situation i log out from my pda) is there any way uses at both ends can be logged in simultaneously?
ps : sorry in case any of the above didn't make any sense , i am new to this sort of technical mumbo-jumbo !!!
