Everyone see any reasons why this is not better than newsbreak? it doesnt force u to look online for more info on a headline like newsbreak does, but is it as stable?

In my opinion this is better than Newsbreak..... Why? first is that it includes pictures which I think, are good because not all of us are just interested on just RSS feeds. For example, when you use Newsbreak and download from PC.IGN.COM, you only get... well... feeds... and mostly 1-3 lines... with SPB insight, you get the entire feed, the screenshots, table scores for the review, etc. The downside to this is that it will take around 3 minutes to download the news as compared to when you download only rss feeds which take only 30 seconds i think... but overall, really really good because I am a visual-person, so I like to see more from what I read. you can turn off the picture support anyway if you dont like it.

just my 2 cents though... but its entirely up to you... the only thing lacking from SPB insight before was that it does not have a today plugin.. but with this new version, it has plugins already so no reason

and for the question above about not allowing to go directly to the site...
i think it is not spb insight but rather a software conflict on your device because i can use the links with no problems... do you use netfront? anyway... THANKS for the update on this software!!!

I was impressed wih the the look and feel of this reader andplan on switching overbut I can't seem to get it to download the whole feed? maybe it is the feeds I am choosing but they are requiring me to get online. am I missing something? I think some feeds require an online link like business week....wish here was a way around this....

i made my choice for this one, together with egress. why egress? because sometimes i want to automatically download the html linked to the feed, and to download podcasts, which Insight is unable to do so far.

I wonder if qmail would be able to do all this, even using macros. Has eanyone tried to configure qmail for rss, together with cache downloading of linked html and podcasts?
