FlexMail 2007 R2 Build 1601
Requirements: Pocket PC 2003, 2003SE, WM5
Overview: Winner of the 2006 Shareware Industry Conference Best PDA Software award, FlexMail is a full fledged email client for your Pocket PC. It supports reading and replying to ActiveSynch email for basic operations or through its infinitely more powerful POP3/IMAP4 services to your email server. With support for industry standard SSL and SOCKS proxies, you can connect to almost any email provider including GMail!

With FlexMail's many options you can customize your email usage much more than any the Pocket PC Inbox allows. Receive your email via ActiveSync and respond via your POP3/IMAP4 SMTP account. Have FlexMail only hold the last 5 days of your IMAP folders. Create local folders and server folders. Synchronize by age, size, and synchronizations status on a per folder basis allowing you to get only the last 5 day's worth of email in your Inbox but the last months in your Personal folder, for example.

The intuitive interface makes working with mail on the Pocket PC 2003 and Windows Mobile 5 OSs a joy. You have multiple interfaces to choose from such as the normal Folders/Messages tab, the 3 pane view, or showing a preview window in all views. Change the orientation to landscape mode on startup. You control the way FlexMail downloads your mail, the way it responds, and the way you read it.

Use the Mail Rules to filter your email, the folder searching to find your email, and the powerful integrated spell checker to check the spelling of your email. It is based off the popular award winning PhatSpell from PhatWare, Inc.. FlexMail will also work with the full PhatSpell installation as well.

Hello all,
I use flexymail but I have a little problem about sms.
Sometimes when I send an sms by pressing the send button on my device (HTC 4350 WM5) the sms go to sent folder and don't go out.
Sometimes go to outbox and don't go out.
Could you tell me if you have this kind of problem?

Best regads

@geppo,

that issue has been commented on Webis' forums, apparently the latest build fixed it...

I say apparently, since I DON'T want FM to manage my sms's, and the application still randomly takes over the system messaging app.

Yep, I had this problem with the old vers... :\
And the big problem was: I tried to uninstall the app to come back normal, but i didn't. And worst: I didn't make a backup (with Spb backup, for ex.). Result: hardreset... :\
I think if someone want to try this one, make first a system backup.

I tried this latest release.
Well, it does NOT work when installed on the Storage card or on the Extended ROM :(
First you think it works, about after about 1 hour, you will discover that FlexMail has lost all your settings and accounts ! very annoying, and I haven't found away to link them again, so you would have to configure all your accounts again !
If someone has a solution to avoid FlexMail to loose its settings I would be very happy.

Ok thanks! And what kind of applications you use to manage your sms? The default application on wm5 or another?
