It is capable of simultaneously downloading up to ten different files. However, the number of simultaneous files defined in the transfer manager affects the download speed. The processor power of your mobile device also define how many simultaneous download could be implemented. Shall you choose to download one file at a time, once started, each file that has been added in the transfer manager for downloading will be set to the Download queue status. GREAT !

More than download accelerator, what I really need is a download manager with the pause/resume function to resume download of big files when, for example, the net fall down ect....
I tried Vito Mobile Downloader but it even if it claims too integration with PIE ( in the contest menu too ) when the download pop-up comes then didn't redirect the download control to Vito app ....
Even forcing it selecting the contest menu voice, didn't works. The only way is to copy the link and past it in the vito dowload manager queue task ....

Anyone know if this one has the resume feature ? Hope yes as well ...
Anyway I'll give it a try ....

Release Tester's Review

Tested/Working on: WM5, WM6, PPC 2003*
Not working on: PPC 2002*
Not tested on: 2003SE
Rating: Originality: 3/10 - Quality: 8/10 - Performance: 8/10 -- Average: 7/10
Comment: I would have to say that this release surprised me. I rolled my eyes becuase, with the exception of some tricks and tweaks to you registry and maybe setting to an openDNS server your downloads couldn't get quicker but by george they did. I had an average increase of 5KB/s download on my EDGE connection, a WHOPPING 20KB/s on WLAN. I would suggest though trying this for yourself. Some people have not seen any diffrence. Judge for yourself.

Well !
The app really goes as a flashlight in download temporary file/files ....
Anyway at last it takes 3-4 minutes to assemble and to finish a 12Mb file ....

Another thing.... it must run in background ! Becase if not, even if in PIE rice a message box Popup askin you if to use WMDA or not... nothing happens !
Otherwise, if the app is in background and choose YES to use it in download , No problems !

I'm having problems with it as well. It installs fine, and I can register it with the code the keygen spit out. But whenever I try to use it, it freezes my device up (AT&T 8525, my test device for new software). It's using a debranded version of WM6 and I'm also using PIEPlus 2.2. I thought that might have been the culprit, so I uninstalled it, deleted all the registry entries using Resco Registry Editor and MemMaid and tried again. Still no joy. When I try to check the log, it has garbage characters there that I can't get rid of.

I'm going to hard reset the 8525, and just install the WM Download Accelerator by itself and I'll let you know what happens. If it still locks up, the app is probably faulty.

I've had trouble downloading via rapidshare, or megaupload containing movies, whether using WMDA, or Vito or H-get.
Mainly it says it can't connect to (m-upload, for example).
WMDA support said that r-share and m-upload won't accept the multi-thread tech, but I gather u guys are not having prbs with it, true?
Any suggs how I can debug this? green ;)
