Sniff passwords from your Pocket PC
As a network administrator, you want to protect your users' confidential data. What better way to do this than to stroll down the hall with Airscanner Mobile Sniffer hidden in your pocket? Thanks to our support for Ethereal packet capture format, grabbing your user's passwords out of the airwaves is as easy as watching a movie! Your users unintentionally send their passwords through the air in clear text, so it is better that you discover this first before a malicious drive-by hacker does it for you. Airscanner Mobile Sniffer also works in promiscuous mode, so you can also discover unauthorized users who may be associating with one of your access points.

Benefits:
Airscanner Mobile Sniffer advantages include:
* True promiscuous wireless sniffing
* Works on most Pocket PC devices
* Supports a broad range of wireless network cards
* World class customer support for commercial licenses
* Crystal-clear network analysis thanks to Ethereal format support
* Logo Certified by Microsoft for Pocket PC

Features:
Airscanner Mobile Sniffer gives you the power to:
* Sniff wireless packets in promiscuous mode
* Decode UDP, TCP, Ethernet, DNS, and NetBios packets
* Conduct network analysis on an entire WLAN segment
* Customize filters for source and/or destination IP Address, UDP Port, TCP Port, or MAC
* View real-time packet statistics
* Save results of capture sessions
* Export data to Ethereal format for further analysis on a desktop PC

Release Tester's Review

Tested/Working on: PPC 2003 / WM5
Not working on : PPC 2002
Not tested on : PPC 2003SE, WM6
Rating: Originality: 9/10 - Quality: 10/10 - Performance vs. similar products: 9/10 -- Average: 9/10
Comment: At start-up you make a choice which adaptor you are going to monitor (not all adaptors can be monitored). You get an immediate active and aggressive scan of packet transmission and signals are analysed in real-time. To be honest, this utility has a lot of options and gives plenty of information that seems very powerful and I have not enough knowledge to analyse all this for you. This test review is made essentially to analyse and confirm the working of the program and its registration process and - again - this is working perfectly. The use and utility of the program I leave to the specialists and network tweakers, who will surely appreciate this powerful program. My rating is thus based on comparing the options and functions of this program against other similar software.

wpa codes can't be cracked if the password is a sensible one (enough length, numbers, letters and special chars).

Do you mean if it can crack WEP?
