This is one of my favorite programs. It keeps me busy in IRC chat all day while I am bored at work haha!

The "nick" action button isn't working for me... and there seems to be no help for "nick changing". So if you want to change your nick after connecting to the server, just go to Status, Raw... and type in the usual command: /nick whatever

Havent tried that button mate . I normally use the actual command unless my nick is still used like when disconnected and I use the ghost command.

I use activesynctoggle when using mobile IRC in docking stations

This does not install on my Motorola Q (WM5).

the Moto Q is a smartphone, not a ppc.
you need the smartphone version of this app.

theres a smartphone section in this forum, just scroll down while on the home page.
Also, try the search feature.

Why should one install a CAB-file?

- direct download/install to the device, without polluting desktop PC by useless installed files
- CAB files are trusted. no viruses, no trojans

there's no smartphone-compatible version of PocketIRC available at this moment.

Thanks for the cab file, already installed and working perfectly, a good irc client, Wmirc doesn't worked well for me, the best for me, pocketchat, is older, doesn't work well in landscape mode, as Wmirc... Thanks for this release and the cab file again. Tested under WM6 on a X50v
