Flexmail 2007 v3.1.1864
Requirements: Pocket PC 2003, 2003SE, WM5, WM6
Overview: Bring the power of Windows Mobile 6 to your Pocket PC today. Go beyond the basics of Windows Mobile 6 and upgrade to FlexMail! Winner of the multiple awards in 2004/2005/2006 from the Shareware Industry Conference and Pocket PC Magazine, FlexMail is a full fledged email client for your Pocket PC. It supports reading and replying to ActiveSync email for basic operations or through its infinitely more powerful POP3/IMAP4 services to your email server. With support for industry standard SSL and SOCKS proxies, you can connect to almost any email provider including GMail! Image FlexMail 2007 Revision 2 now brings Smartphone support, full IMAP IDLE support (Direct Email Push), hundreds of user interface improvements, implementation of tens of feature requests, and major reliability improvement. Its a whole new FlexMail in more ways than ever before. With FlexMail's many options you can customize your email usage much more than the Pocket PC Messaging app allows. Receive your email via ActiveSync and respond via your POP3/IMAP4 SMTP account. Get immediate per email notifications via IMAP IDLE even when your Windows Mobile device is sleeping! Have FlexMail only hold the last 5 days of your IMAP folders. Create local folders and server folders. Synchronize by age, size, and synchronizations status on a per folder basis allowing you to get only the last 5 day's worth of email in your Inbox but the last months in your Personal folder, for example. The intuitive interface makes working with mail on the Pocket PC 2003 and Windows Mobile 5.0/6 OSs a joy. You have multiple interfaces to choose from such as the normal Folders/Messages tab, the 3 pane view, or showing a preview window in all views. Change the orientation to landscape mode on startup. You control the way FlexMail downloads your mail, the way it responds, and the way you read it. Use the Mail Rules to filter your email, the folder searching to find your email, and the powerful integrated spell checker to check the spelling of your email. It is based off the popular award winning PhatSpell from PhatWare, Inc.. FlexMail will also work with the full PhatSpell installation as well.

At the first start of Flexmail you can decide if you want to use the application for Mail, SMS or SMS/Mail :D

I have a question. When you install flex mail, do you have to have it running the background or does it fully integrate into the OS. I've been looking for a program that will replace the Messaging app on my blackjack. I'm just curious as to whether this will work without having the actual app open and how the device will alert when you have a new message.

I tried with mail2web and the sync was good, but I couldn't change the encoding. :( Therefore I couldn't read the message.
