Hacking wireless LAN encryptions e.g. or in an unsecure network you can see what other people send and recieve via WLAN

Hello guys, does anyone know if the Promiscuous mode works with the HTC Hermes variant? I know that most PDAs hardware does allow this mode, without it you can't see any wifi packet information unless you connect to it - therefore quite pointless unless seeing your own data and what others can see about your data.

But be aware of 66.11.231.170 !

Strange behaviour of the app. Looks like a "sniffer" for your private data rather :)

Better stay away with only the official driver and wait until things clears up.

A .CAB file a day, for mobile users on the way, keeps installation problems away...

< .CAB file(s) added to opening post. > - unless specified all .CAB files are Rapidshare links

Why should one install a CAB-file?

- direct download/install to the device, without polluting desktop PC by useless installed files
- CAB files are trusted. no viruses, no trojans

Look HERE to find out how to install a .CAB file
Go HERE if you would like a .CAB file to be added to a release post.

Please help us to keep this forum clean. Don't pollute topics with requests!
If you need a CAB file for a release, if you need a personal key or serial, request one in the Service Room.
The services are managed by andree and Guy1731 .
Please click on a name to PM any questions about the services, or to report a dead CAB-file link.

We shall not rest before your requests are fulfilled...
Please respect the developer(s) of released software. If you download and use it, then buy or support it.

It just displays the ICP/IP packets that are send to your computer anyway (via ethernet or wlan).

Normally a packet sniffer will display ALL traffic on the wlan/lan you are connected to.

Problem is, the HTC Mogul (Titan) built-in WiFi does NOT support promiscuous mode. So no "sniffing" other traffic, only traffic coming in/out from my Mogul.

A driver that allows sniffing in promiscuous mode and monitor mode. That's just what I'm looking for all the time. But I think for my built in wlan card (HTC Universal) this will never be available!?
And buying a SD network card like the one illustrated in the official link of the opening post also means no alternative to me, since I have to unplug my SD storage card then. And sniffing many packets means a lot of space ;)

Or is there some solution to use SD storage and WLAN at one slot simultaneously?
