Is this only for USA and GB? This are the only two locations i can choose from in the settings menu. Is there a version for Germany or any similar program?

Phex, You can click on label "Choose a new location..." and type your city or country name to find. The details of map is depend on where you're living etc. USA details much more than Asian country.

Anyone like this better than Iguidance or is it still a poor man's gps?

I like it better!
I dont think its a poormans gps. This gives you some things that gps doesnt. like traffic updates, and sometimes that is more important.
