Just a word of warning, this program does not work on a siemens loox (yes, the specific device it was made for). Just starting it causes the network card to lock up somehow, and it requires a soft reset( or worse) to get the wifi working again. Just check the firstloox forum for information (requires signing up)

here is a google cache link
http://64.233.183.104/search?q=cache:5F ... =firefox-a

..... and if FirstLoox had a pound for every time the dreaded E2C problem reared it's ugly head, we would be a very wealthy forum.

What you wrote is true, there were several complaints against this soft, although a lot of people are using it... BUT, it was a request and I presume that the requester was aware about the quality of this soft...It was designed specially for loox machines.
The version I've posted is the latest full retail version with the licence key attached (if an upgrade will come out, what I doubt, can be freely upgraded).
@GMY: it is your decision to use it or not ( to be honest, I don't really suggest it)...

Thank you for kindness.
Remarks on FSC Loox 560N original WM5.
- there's a preinstalled E2C on it but the licence given by you is not recognized, I guess it is hardware id related.
- I had to edit the cab (no hard-coded path) otherwise it refuses to install.
- major limitation: no WPA2 or AES!

The license file is absolutely not hardware related.
Please read carefully the txt file included in rar (especially about the device ID ;) )

:) true I did not read the txt file :)

I read it, well, but same results.

Originally on FSC is installed version 3.0.2.06041 (Build 1125)
Your version is 3.00.05203 (Build 1038)

I get the following reply when trying: "Invalid license file" See FAQ section in help for additional information"

OK, dunno what could be the problem, becose I've downloaded from the official Fusi site (see image).
I had a voucher with some remaining points on it and I don't have anymore the N560. So I've decided to help a few people hanging out there :)
I've logged in and I spent my remaining points for this application.
When I clicked to download the application, it asked me for a DeviceID, since I have no FuSi device I've entered: N560.
Than I was able to download two files: a license file and the app itself. So this is why I am convinced that this should work, although I can't test it.
So thats it...I've done my best to share this app, that's all I can do.;)

@hunter

Thanks a lot for your efforts. I'm using E2C for connections via GPRS. For this purpose the program is perfect. But I'd never use it for Wifi.

@Zeno

Can you upload your modified .cab file? I've exactly the same problem when trying to install this E2C version.

Thank you Hunterfor your kindness and efforts :)

I appreciate it.

I'll try more to figure out the mystery :)
And keep all of you informed.
What I guess is that the encrypted licence file has embedded a flag (some bytes) which were modified instantly after your first install and got a hardware fingerprint of your own device.
I noticed during tests that after a first run the file is modified both last character of suffix as some bytes inside it. That is the explanation.
The only possibility, Hunter, is if your have an UNTOUCHED copy of your absolutely first downloaded licence -if you thought to make a backup of it. Otherwise is useless.

Hi Zeno, This is, how you've said, a mystery. The files I've upped are absolutely untuched, nor modified or altered in any way. As soon as I've downloaded from fusi site, I upped to rs. As I said earlier I don't have anymore the N560, I downloaded this soft only to help some of us, who may need it. But it seems, in vain :(
If there is any issue with the soft, than it's developer's fault...Sorry

I also get an error message "Invalid license file". Perhaps it's because my N560 is running under WM6. Anyone who has achieved to register E2C with hunter's key yet?
