moBlue v2.1 (Freeware)
Requirements: WM5/WM6
Overview:
moBlue is the application that lets you save incoming bluetooth files to a user designated folder.

MoBlue, one of the first (if not the first) bluetooth-helpers for Windows Mobile, was released in its first version as early as in spring 2006. More than a year later the application moBlue 2 succeeds the first version after a major makeover. New features are progress bars, percentage meters and count-down clocks as well as the ability to save different types of files to different user designated folders.

Basically moBlue does the receiving job when you are receiving files over bluetooth, and it does it much better than the Microsoft built-in software. You can always choose to save all files to the storage card or to any other destination you may want to have your files at

I strongly advise you to uninstall any other version of moBlue first!all current users of moBlue 2.0 to upgrade to the latest version, 2.1. The new version includes a few bugfixes and better file filters.

A .CAB file a day, for mobile users on the way, keeps installation problems away...

< .CAB file link(s) > added to opening post. (Unless specified all .CAB files are Rapidshare links)

Why should one install a CAB-file?

- direct download/install to the device, without polluting desktop PC by useless installed files
- CAB files are trusted. no viruses, no trojans
- Look HERE to find out how to install a .CAB file

I think MoBlue is better than Dr. Yar...But hey, thats my opinion. I say that because with Dr. Yar's app, whenever i receive a file, photo or sound, after its done i always get the notification in taskbar. With MoBlue i dont have that problem, altough is a bit slower in my opinion.
But thats me with my Eten G500...Dont know for other PPC's ..

Thank you

This app isn't fully working in my Qtek g100 (HTC Galaxy, I-mate PDA-N, Dopod P100)... :( I get it to control my bluetooth settings, but no luck in choosing the destination of the received files.

I'm also unable to get this screen when receiving files:

I'm getting the standard WM5 notification and the prompt to accept the files instead... :? :?

Does anyone have a clue what might be causing this? I'd love to get this app working fine since it looks awesome.

To install it you should download one of the files below and put it on your device.
After a successful installation, remember to uncheck the ‘Receive incoming beams’ in Settings > Connections > Beam, to allow moBlue to handle your incoming requests.

as I Tested it : in my opinoin the best BT receiver till now : "Dr-Yar BT 1.5.1" 4 the following reasons :
* faster than wm5 beam functn
* can recive when PPC on Stand by
* can save directly to Storage card
Dr-Yar BT 1.6 is much better BUT it has a fatal error that it may stop the transfer e'out any known reason

This Prog :: MoBlue can reach the trans rate of 32KB/s but
cause errors when in stand by = can't recive while in stand by mode
when reciving big files the progress takes longer time so ====> the PPC goes into Stand by = Stop transferring

it the owner fixed this errors it will be much better
i suggest also adding an icon when runnin in the notification or sys. tray areas
