Don't use direct addres input in Jbed or make a hardware key slide out the keyboard.

BTW: If you made a shortcut (-run s0_) to Opera Mini and you're disliking the default Java powered or S.P.C powered start screen or the "waving" hand when closing, look for _logo_8.png and _logo_2.png in \windows\appdb\ (or in \windows\; depends on Jbed version#), and change them for any picture you like (240x320 & .png).

Examples:

Save and rename to _logo_8.png

Hello,

Is there a way to make a shortcut without installing extra software in WM6?

\windows\jbed.exe -run s0_

If you have problems working with Jbed Java VM, you can use alternatively the light and free IBM Midp 2.0 Java emulator.

It works great for me combined with Opera 4.1! :)

Check out AE Button Plus &/or UltimateLaunch. And I'm sure there are more launchers and buttonremappers released here capable of the same; just haven't tried 'em all. Yet... ;)

It works in fullscreen, but problem is that I can't open keyboard manualy when I need it. For example in direct addres input in Opera 4.1

Actually you need to goto http://www.operamini.com to download the version closest to ur brand and model to enable the keyboard usage. I hv got the sames problem on my O2 Atom Life using the generic opera mini 4.1 beta. But when I download the O2 version, it works fine.

Hope this help.

Here's a workaround on the keyboard problem:

Go to the address bar, and press the down key. You will see a history of last urls. The last (or the first if you move up) is "Insert Symbol..". If you select this, you will be taken to a separate screen where the url can be input with the (soft) keyboard.

Hope this helps.
