no it doesn't, but it works great, the sound is easily routed to the earpiece using audio route.

From a company with all the resources of Ebay behind it - this is absolutely retarded. Something that a little freeware app can easily do. Skype cannot get it into their own. LOL

My PocketPC FSC Loox N560 supports it since 2.x. I use it like a real phone.

No need for rerouting.

Wow! Thanks I cant even see this version on the Skype web site:-

Current version: 2.5.0.205. Release date: March 24, 2009.
http://www.skype.com/download/skype/windowsmobile/

Suppose as a Beta version.

Here is what is new:-
Skype’s latest mobile beta for Windows Mobile devices graduated to v3.0.0.100 Beta with introduction of a couple of big features. Skype has been a Web communication phenomenon, and the fairly recent foray into a WinMo app is going from strength to strength.

The latest beta brings two big features from the desktop version - File transfers and SMS. Another welcome addition to the feature list is the single one-size-fits-all installer for both Smartphones and Pocket PCs.

Now you can send text messages from your phone at Skype’s low rates. This feature comes handy and is cheaper when you are in roaming, and in a WiFi zone. The feature has been seamlessly added as a shortcut icon on the contact list page and as Send SMS Menu option.

The new beta also allows secure and private Skype-to-Skype file transfers. The feature is not actually apparent on the interface, and you have to select Contact Options from the Menu, and then Send File to initiate a transfer.

Skype 3.0 beta for WinMo 5.x and 6.x devices is available for free, but you would ofcourse incur data charges if you are using your phone’s data plan, and not WiFi. If you have a previous version of Skype installed on your WinMo, please uninstall it before installing the new version.
