Verichat v1.42b
Requirments: Pocket PC 2003/SE,WM5
Overview: VeriChat For Pocket PC is an always-on, unified instant messaging (IM) application for Pocket PC 2002 and Pocket PC 2003 PDA devices, and Pocket PC Phone Edition based SmartPhones
Image

On a Pocket PC Phone Edition device, VeriChat For PPC works with your persistent (GPRS/CDMA 1xRTT) or CSD wireless data connection to give you an always-on presence on the Yahoo!, ICQ, MSN , Google Talk & AOL chat networks. Your buddies always see you as online and can send you messages, even when your device is in standby mode, and you can receive and reply to these messages.
On a non-phone Pocket PC PDA, such as a iPAQ 4150 with its WiFi connection, you can use VeriChat whenever you have a network connection, or you can use it in always-on mode in conjunction with your mobile phone.

It took a few tries but the registration code DOES work. Great little program. Thank you. :D

Question: Does this program use SMS to send/receive messages? I don't want to run up a huge SMS bill so I'm hopingit will allow me to use cellular data and WiFi.

Thanks in advance. :)

EDIT: I think I spoke too soon! Now that I registered the program I can no longer connect to any of the IM services! Can anyone help me?

Biogrei, please, what does mean "OK" ??
Could you be, please, a little bit more clear in your comments ??
It is not so difficult, and your posts will be not only a "spamming" post (like this, ok?)

Thanks a lot Biogrei.

If you go to the developer's website, you'll see that they no longer support Verichat. Nokia bought them out and decided to cut this service. :(

Supadirty, the program still connects to AIM, Yahoo, MSN, etc. So it doesn'tmater if Nokia or whoever bougt them. The program still works and is still listed on their site. :)

I found that when I register the program it doesn't connect so I uninstalled it and am using it unregistered right now.

It might still be working now as some users still have subscriptions with them. Sooner or later, it won't connect.
