Changing the iCode entry to a number such as '3' works for me to extend the trial using the cracked cab in the OP. Changing it to 'e' or another letter I still get the 7 day trial box.

How easy would it be for the original cracker to create a loader which resets the trial upon opening the app / a certain number of days?

I think that when we have a concencus about a trick that works for everyone, there will be somebody who can and will make this loader app.

So here's an idea, this worked for me and LTGB.

Everone please make sure you use the "second attempt" crack by drlouis. I've noticed it's not in the 1st post anymore, so i hope i have drlouis' permission to repost it http://www.megaupload.com/?d=U6FZ5ABA

Then, every time before running IM+, change the iCode entry to a different number such as '3'.

Doing just that works for me, does it for everyone?

if used once, then can't used anymore.
you can try 0-9,a-z,-+&%# or anything to change icode value.
you can use chinese char too.

when success to run im+, change the im+ network setting, and remember to log out from your ym,msn or facebook before exit im+.
If you don't log out, when you log in to yahoo messenger or others not using im+,then your im+ expire again.
and need to change the icode registry again.

after change the network setting, you do not need to change the icode registry anymore.(remember to log out from yahoo, msn, icq or other before exit im+).

Perhaps you're right, but the thing is that I don't want to enable the "keep services connected" feature! I don't like what it does, while for some people it might be handy

then you must change the icode registry everytime before you run im+.

now i can use drlouis cracked im+ anytime, and don't need to change the icode registry anymore.

Ok, I've now managed to replicate what andri5880 has done and can confirm (so far) his method works.

The key is to sign out from all IM protocols before exiting the application, it would seem.

Before I tried changing my previously edited iCode value ('3') to ('4'), reopened IM+ and got the expired message. I changed back to '3', followed andri5880's procedure above by enabling networks to remained signed in and signing out from the networks before exiting the application.

I then changed my iCode to '£', reopened IM+ and all services sign in perfectly. Well, bar Facebook that seems very hit and miss (I believe this is probably just Facebook's protocol being updated though, or something)

I can confirm that that works! (for now). And when signing out of the services, I don't appear to be signed in anymore (something that I wouldn't like to happen).

I'd find the 'stay signed in' feature pretty useful, but I can live without it! 8)

Hope our findings can point a cracker in the right direction. :D

you can use that feature, but don't login your instant messaging from PC or others when stay sign in or connected im+.
when you restart your im+ will be expired.

when expired, very simple action.just change the icode
so many character can be used(chinese char i means).

I did a small loader which does the reg stuff; who want's to test it PM me to see if it works. (you must have an expired imei in registry to really test if this works)
