If it does not belong anywhere else and has to do with Android post it here.

Hi guys...

Is there an easy way to install a stable OS on a rooted Lenovo A850+ ?

Something like Linux or another operating system..because the Rom I installed recognize
my SD card once out of four time ! ( NO it's not the card..have have tested 2 and they work fine )

So I guess the OS is unstable...

I'm a 52 year old "newbie"...and any help is welcomed !!! :)

I assume you want to install another custom android rom on your device. I would do some research online and try to find what custom rom is compatible with your device. As you have probably installed the custom rom for another android device, which is the reason why your device seems so unstable right now.

I would recommend installing the original firmware back onto your device. If you don't like the fact that it doesn't have a app drawer you can install a custom home screen launcher from the Google Play Store, which will restore the app drawer on your device.

Hi..

Thanks for your reply !

I think i have the right Rom ( Mt6582_Android_scatter )...

Got it here..don't remember wich: http://www.needrom.com/category/lenovo/serial-a/a850-serial-a/

I REALLY would like to install something stable, as I really like that phone..but get frustrated when i want to use an app that is non-reponsive, the SD card being accesible once in a while !

PS: How to reinstall the original firmware ?

Again...many thanks !!!

You would have to install it using Odin.

I don't think it would be possible, but you can upgrade its Android version.
