If it does not belong anywhere else and has to do with Android post it here.

Hey,

I just got my Droid and it's really great so far. Only one thing that's been bothering me: Is it possible to use the android apps (which need a google account) with a non-gmail-mail-address? The thing is that I have a (e.g.) [email protected] e-mail address which I am registered at google calendar with and I really need to use that mail address for appointments etc.

Cheers

1) Gawab incoming mail server (POP) is: pop.gawab.com port 110

2) Gawab outgoing mail server (SMTP) is: smtp.gawab.com port 587 or 25

3) Your username on Outlook should be your complete email address

4) You can not use SSL

Okay, gawab was only an example.

Actually I have a work E-mail address which uses an internal server which cannot be accessed from external. I registered at google calendar with that E-mail address and I've been managing all my appointments there. Problem now is that I cannot use that E-mail address as google account@ my Droid.

Cheers

Edit: I don't care about the mails but about the calendar.
