After downloading the new official froyo , i keep getting the low memory warning, i checked the setting and yes im really low on memory, i thought froyo had the ability to install apps on SD card, only some app from the market have this ability, anything i download from forums goes strait to the internal storage, specially games. when i had a different rom before i had the app2sd and all was good, but not anymore, is there a way to fix this, ive did a hard reset several time and no go, i cant even root it anymore since the new boot loader, please help me if you can, i would be really thankful.

It works

for me a hard reset helped
looked like some update files weren't deleted, after hard reset i had aprox. 90mb more free space (the size of the froyo update)

Guys, if you follow the xda developer thread, you know that widget apps will not work!! so that will screw up your system, unfortunately.

that´s what you will have to pay for it ...

if you want to root your phone, I assume you try StarBurst ROM with Data2SD. this will expand your phone memory with parts of the external storage
