Hey. Is there a way to calibrate accelerometer on my Samsung Vibrant? When I downloaded app called Android Sensor it showed me that I was a little off.... So whenever I'm playing game that's using accelerometer, I have to tilt my phone slightly to the right, so that for example car drives straight. Any help would be appreciated.

So I might sound completely ignorant, my Samsung Vibrant will be delivered this monday so I can't say for but I've been watching an ass ton of reviews and what not. Anyways, some guy said he calibrated it by waving it around? hahah I have no idea :/

Anyways did a quick search on google, this isn't about the vibrant but it is for a 6-axis accelerometer and I think it would apply to any accelerometer.

basically all he did was back up his information and then did a factory reset, it fixed his accelerometer. Good luck bud, hope my vibrant doesn't come with a twonky accelerometer haha

I came across that forum as well :) And I did try what they proposed, waving it around in figure 8 motion, but it didn't help. I have bunch of stuff installed on my vibrant and don't want to loose all that stuff :) But we'll see... Thanks for reply.
