a misterious problem with my incredible Help please?

The other nite i put my phone on the charger and went to sleep i had text messages and a few locked text messages when i woke up the mext morning ALL my messages earased mysteriously even my locked messages. Has anyone encountered this problem et if so is there a way to get my locked messages back? What would cause this to happen?

No actually i havnt installed any 3rd party apps since HTC forced me to update my phone back in august
