If it does not belong anywhere else and has to do with Android post it here.

I've just bought an LG G3 32Gb. It came with a 5.0 firmware (rather than a 4.4.2 as stated in GSM Arena). I tried to root it with LG One Click Root from Avicohh, I followed each step, the rooting process was successfully complete but I couldn't find any SuperUser icon.
Is my phone rooted now? Do I have to do something else to see the superuser icon?
If not how can I root it properly?

I tried checking for a firmware update but the LG PC Suite says that I have the latest - D85521A.

Sorry for late message.
I was mislead by its position in my search.

Use root checker ... or use MyPhoneExplorer (a very nice and FREE app) to check your rooting status and if SuperUserSu is working

Have a nice day !
