If it does not belong anywhere else and has to do with Android post it here.

I have a handful of apps I have purchased over the past year, I wanted to know how I can extract the apks of those apps as the update so I can place them here. I'd like to contribute so I can make wrz bucks...otherwise I will run out fast :)

Got a rooted phone? Or at least the ability to navigate through your phone's file structure (beneath your SD card's contents)?

Step 1 is probably to temporarily move the app to phone storage. Step 2 won't commence without root. Be back in five...

you can use adb to pull the apk files from your phone. after that they will probably need license verification checks disabled before they can be used by anyone that has not purchased the app. if you need help with any of that, just post here the specifics.

If your rooted and have root explorer or astro or other file browsers:
1. Goto Data folder/app and just copy and paste the apk file you want anywhere you want.

If your not rooted get appmonster here: viewtopic.php?f=438&t=181078&hilit=appmonster

1. go into app monster and backup the apps you want
2. then go into a file explorer of your choice
3. goto the appmonster folder then you will see backup folder
4. click the backup folder
5. then you will see all your apps in folders
6. click the app folder you want
7. then there is going to be a rev folder in there
8. click the rev folder and there is the apk ;)
9. copy and paste the apk to a folder of your choice and upload and release according to our guidelines

;)

I'm able to... although not entirely sure as I'm rooted, i don't know if that has something to do with it.

it's not likely the fault of this app monster. if i recall properly, you will not be able to pull from app-private (protected apps you paid for) unless your phone is rooted. it's just a simple adb pull that is required.

Awesome, I will give it a shot. However I have no idea how to edit the apk for licensing.

I am rooted and know how to use root explorer, adb on the other hand I am not very good with.

there is a tool called antilvl that will try to disable most common license checks.

Where are the apps stored? i want to pull them from adb.
Also, could someone explain a bit about the cracking procedure? just rough. Not with antilvl. but manually

xabdullahx, apps are generally stored in /data/app on the internal memory of the android device. protected apps that you purchase are stored in /data/app-private. unless you have apps2sd then it's probably /sd-ext/data/app. you could also always just
Code: Select allfind / | grep package.name
to get some clue

there are tutorials written on cracking called "way of the android cracker" that will have what you seek. i'm also available for specific questions via pm and many of the crackers here are quite helpful and friendly.
