Until a few days ago everything was working just fine... running stock Android version 2.2...
I still have over 500Mb device memory available (which is plenty), even after installing more than 450 apps
I do not know what caused the change, but all of a sudden my (rather new) HTC Desire HD behaves... well... strangely:
- it has rebooted a few times on its own
- I can not install anything from either the Market or Applanet (the installation bar just stays onscreen forever)
- I can not uninstall anything (the uninstallation bar just stays onscreen forever)
- when inspecting the memory and application status via the built-in menus accessed from Settings, the status just displays as "Calculating" in all fields forever
- when I open the applications view, not all my applications are shown - it is as if the list is never fully updated
- HTCSense crashes quite frequently, especially at start-up
- other android apps crash every so often and have to be Force Closed
This is just not acceptable. Does anyone have an idea what might be causing this and, more importantly, how to fix it???
Thanks for any help offered!!!
