I have a Kobo Aura H2O, and I just recently upgraded it to the latest firmware (version 4.5.9587). When I try sideloading some books using Calibre the other day, I noticed that all my previously sideloaded books had their reading status reset to Unread. However, the annotations that I put in them are not gone. This only happened to books loaded into the Micro SD card, and not the books in the internal memory of the device. It never did this before the upgrade. One other change that I did recently was that I used a USB cable that is not from Kobo to load the books, since I lost the original USB cable. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this? Or what's wrong with it? I tried asking MobileRead, but I cannot register on that website for some reason.
