If it does not belong anywhere else and has to do with Android post it here.

It looks like a really good phone, but honestly, I am a quasi-noob when it comes to Android. I currently have an Ally, which I rooted, so I have just enough knowledge to be dangerous

Anything specific I need to know about the Xperia? Hopefully no one tells me it's crap... I like the idea of having Playstation games on it, and I am wondering if anyone knows if the games must be bought from the Verizon App store, or if I can just add them *cough* myself.

I was pleased to see the processor is a Snapdragon, and it looks to have a decent GPU, so it should be much better than my really sloooooooooooooooooooow Ally.

Also, I got it for $69.99 8)

Anything anyone can add would be appreciated.

Hi, I got this phone for my son after passing his exams and he is delighted by it.
Firstly there were some concerns over the plastic case, but it looks good and seems as if it can cope with a heavy handed teenager.
The sound quality is fantastic both on the mp3 player and when making calls.
I know that it comes with some games but I also know that my son has added more, 'cough cough'
He has had this phone about 3 months now with no problems and no complains, and has recently sold his beloved psp, as he say with this phone he doesn't need it any more.
Hope this helps a little.
