Hi All,

I'm a bit of a newbie to Android & i'm having a very frustrating problem. I'd like to install and run games i download here from my SD Card because it has a lot more room on it. The problem is that every game i try refuses to work unless the OBB files are in my phone's Android\obb directory. If i move them to the SD card's Android\obb directory then the game just seems to download the necessary files and put them on my phone. Even if i move the app to the SD card after installing the APK, it still looks at the phone for the obb files.

I'm using an unrooted Note 8.

I use Obb on Sd. But you need root and xposed. https://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/modules/mod-obb-sd-v0-1-t2884004

Most of the guides say sdcard or system.
But I found as you did they don't work on sd,only in the system.
Iv just accepted the the fact. That's Not answering your question, but your not the only one
Iv also stopped rooting, so thats not a option for me.
