Nothing shows in the notification bar when you pull it down?

If not, I would probably try freezing apps one-by-one in Titanium Backup until I found the culprit.

Alternately, you can install a task manager like Task Killer or Clean Master and see what app might be causing that icon.

The icon comes from "My Data Manager" and theres an option to disable this icon of status bar.
