Hey guys,
I'm using a Verizon Moto X (2014). So I'm trying to play Kindgom Rush Origins. I'm actually going to pay for it, I just want to try it first (I did this with the last one too and purchased it).
So I copied the obb folder into the Android/obb directory. I then installed the game and made sure it launched. After a few minutes I realized I meant to install the mod version with all the heroes unlocked. So I had to uninstall the existing game, and then re-install with the mod apk.
Low and behold, my obb folder is now completely missing. I have tried browsing to it via windows, adb, and with an on-device file manager, all of them only show the 'data' folder. If I try to recreate the obb folder I get an error that it already exists. Even using adb shell, it's not showing up in the directory listing (see screenshot).
Has any one else encountered this? I did a few google searches but couldn't find anything helpful.
I've tried rebooting the phone with no luck. Unfortunately I can't root, since no exploit is known for this phone. I also tried installing a different game that I know uses files in the obb folder, but the folder still didn't come back.
