I've heard that the HTC phones doesnt have that many video playing software. I just got my Incredible today. I tried to play a few. Some did but the quality was ok. I did try to play some .AVI files and it didnt play. I was wondering what is the best video/media player for this phone? And IF this is any video player that can support different format such as .AVI?

There is no problem about installation and configuration.

I use Rock Divx Player on my X10. No need to convert avi's any more, it plays them perfectly. :D

You should get Act 1 Video player. Not sure if it plays .avi or not, but its still a very worthwhile download, and its available from this website. BeyondPod and Act 1 Video player are a match made in heaven for video podcast viewing.

I'm not saying it doesn't support avi, i'm saying I dont know. I've never tried. I think it does though. I remember I played a video encoded in XviD, and if I remember right, thats a form of AVI. So, if thats true, maybe it does.

Get it either way.

VPlayer is, IMO, the best player for Android, it plays everything I think.
