How can I use the WiiMote with my rooted HTC EVO? Word is that the HTC BlueTooth Stack interferes with BT devices like the WiiMote making all the Market apps for pairing the two useless. There is a custom rom out there with a working BT Stack ported from another device but that ROM doesn't use Sense UI, doesn't have 4G, FM Radio and a few other things that I am not willing to give up.

Is it possible to flash just the BT Stack? Is there an HTC Sense Rom out there that uses the working stack?

well i use WiimoteController just fine on my HTC Dream... and im assuming that has the HTC bluetooth stack..

Say you did pair the wiimote to your evo......then what? Only think I could think of would be an NES emulator. Thats it. I can't think of any other uses.


Not meant as being rude or sarcastic, I genuinely want to know what you could do by pairing the two. I'm assuming using it as a pointer would be pretty useless.

1) theres no LED lights to act as the sensor bar
2) you have to be 3 feet away from the sensor bar

you use it as an input device, like a trackball, to navigate around the phone. press a button to emulate a screen tap, and a different one to go back etc...
