Hi, I'm on a 2.2 desire connected through WiFi. Whenever I use websites like filesonic the files don't download correctly and I get a problem parsing the file. If I use my pc it downloads fine, or if I use some other sites I.e. Megaupload it's fine. Does anyone else have this problem or is it just me?

Same problem with xscope too. It doesn't seem to download properly I.e. It's instantly finished as soon as I click the link. As an aside how do I pan left or right using xscope? Vertical scrolling works but I couldn't move horizontally :/

Get astro file manager go into its settings and allow all downloads that should fix your issue.

SD card isn't full. Phone isn't rooted and that astro thing didn't help either. http://www.filesonic.com/file/23493681 that's one of the files that doesn't download. Sometimes they won't be .apk files either but .bin / .txt files too :/

And like I said It's only filesonic that I have problems with.

I just downloaded from that same link you posted using Opera Mobile 10. The filename downloaded with the correct name and extension (com.idreams.skyforce.v1.32.apk) to my Samsung Galaxy S running stock 2.1 non-rooted. I checked with Asto Explorer and it's correct. I have downloaded lots of files with Opera Mobile 10 from filesonic to my phone and they all installed fine.

Get it here or from the market, it's freeware.

After install go to settings, disable Opera Turbo and under privacy enable cookies. I have Mobile View enabled in settings and I can download from filesonic fine, haven't tried with Mobile view disabled. Maybe you can try it and let us know.

I tried Xfire, wasn't too crazy about it...it's sloowwwww compared to Stock, Dolphin or Opera.

Opera I use mostly for viewing mobile sites, when I want full website I use Dolphin.
