Hi I am a Galaxy S2 user and I want to connect my S2 to my laptop running Win 7 SP1 via WiFi and without rooting my phone. I heard about Connectify and installed it but still I am unable to connect my laptop and phone through WiFi. My phone does not see the network at all. Please help giving details!

Connectify uses ad-hoc networks to connect devices, and android devices can't see them for some annoying reason.

If you have a router, try something like File Explorer. If you don't have a router, you may need one.

Hi,
just wanna say that I also have samsung galaxy s2 and and connectify 3.0.0 installed on my laptop and it works :o
I chose "Access Point, WPA2-PSK" under "Security Mode" because "ad-hoc, open" and "ad-hoc web" didnt work. Hope i could help you that it works at me. just try it again...
