Please help me with this guys , i need to know the exact procedure of updating my firmware to the latest version "OVER-THE-AIR" !!

The Kies software in my PC is showing a firmware upgrade for my SG S-II i9100G , i tried to do it while connecting the phone to the PC but the procedure stopped in-between twice (it's so frustrating because the procedure goes on for a while & then stops somewhere midway probably because of unsteady network connection).

Any help regarding this would be highly appreciated my dear forum buddies !!

I'm assuming that you are trying to update the firmware for your SGSII via the wireless connection on your PC. Is your PC connected to the need via a Wi-Fi adapator? If it is then that is what is causing your connection problem, however you can update your SGSII's firmware via Wi-Fi, without connecting it via your PC over Wi-Fi. All you have to do is logon to the Samsung appstore, and you should be able to update your firmware via that route. Just be sure that your SGSII is connected to you wireless router/Wi-Fi hotspot.

The other way would be to connect your SGSII to your PC via the USB cable. Download the firmware update from Samsung, then run the update from your PC to your phone.
