Hi.

I am using CallRecorder to record calls automatically.
Unfortunately, sometimes the records are damaged.
The files are much longer (~2h for a 3 min call) and sound like an analog modem sometimes nothing sometimes just noise.
It happened again yesterday.
At first the record was normal, then it got messed up.

Does anybody have this problem too or a solution?

A version number might assist in issue troubleshooting + resolution!?

Yes, it does happen. The app will record your phone call as raw data (much larger than mp3) and convert to mp3 file. It takes quite some time. If u make a long call (maybe exceed 20min or so), on some occasions it is not able to convert successfully and remains a large corrupted file in your folder.

I have no idea how to solve the problem but maybe a faster MicroSD card will do the work?

interesting...

how can I find out if the microsd is limiting or the CPU?
I installed SetCPU and set an overclocked state for calls whilst normal when there is no call.

mail from the author of the app:
The app records in wav and then converts to mp3. The conversion to MP3 is not stable and will be removed.
