Last night I installed a bunch of apk's.

And today when i tried

sonic 2 ( which i didn't install the obb ) ( so it failed at downloading stuff at load up )

SARP Secret Audio Recording Pro v1.2 ( failed because its not cracked )

i tried to uninstall them trough /settings/application manager/ and failed
as the "application manager" crashed every time.

So i downloaded 3rd party uninstaller from play store and remove both app's,
but application manager stills crashes...

any comments...

if not i will try a factory reset ( i hope i wont lose my root )

Just to update

I got the problem fixed. I still don't know how the "application manager" of my Galaxy S3 got corrupted.

I will write down some background to the story. A week ago i had rooted the mobile. I had installed/removed
a lot of applications/games, play around with "lucky patcher". And although i had suspected lucky
patcher as the culprit in changing some system files, it wasn't so, as it only changes the applications
you patch. So i did a ROM backup , eventhough my system wasn't pristine. I actually bought TiTanium
backup and did an application/data backup. (including sms) To finally proceeding with a factory
reset. After which I let Google do it's restore ( contacts/play store app's/games ), which i followed by a TiTanium
restore, the finishing touches were to re-able Go Launcher (and other Go app's) and re-abled my favorite widgets. Rebooted twice for good measure.

I tested the menu/settings/application manager by removing a test application. Where before
just opening the application for more then 5 seconds it would crash on it's own.

And it didn't crashed, so overall it was a great learning opportunity.

Next steps will be to play with cooked ROM fresh from the kitchen...Although I am very
happy with the stock ROM.

PS One of my concerns was to lose root at doing factory resets, and I didn't lose root.
you lose root if you were to install a fresh non-rooted ROM. ( see I am learning :))

thanks for sharing the solution, I have not used Titanium backup restore so far so i have a question, can you able to selectively restore individual application from Titanium backup?
