Accidentally I found a “solution” for this (app names get cut off using large icons)! I use 4×4 grid and I had set my icon size more than “84″. I changed the grid size to 5×4 or 5×5 and the app names appear! I changed back to 4×4 and the names were still there!!! Unfortunately I had not the same effect for the folders where the app’s name were cut off.. It was a case??? Just test it…
