1 Can't access lock screen when power button is pressed.
2 Screen does not lock automatically/manually.
i cant access lock screen now if i press the power button the screen closes but when i turn it on the lock screen wont show the lock screen and is directly on. i checked the lockscreen options and tried switching it to other types like swipe, code, password no luck -it still switches on directly to the screen it was on. and also if i press the power button for more than 2 seconds the phone switches off without prompting for the power options.
I have reset the phone through google account as well as hard reset but still no luck. The problem persists.
My phone has no root access. The operating system is Android 4.1.2.
Please help solving the problem
