Recently i noticed lots of cool games from Gameloft.

Unfortunately non of them works, why ? and when it will be fixed?

Is there any way to get this games running on the nexus?

from what I have read they are trying to stop the illegal downloads of their games with a server check and making them device independent. So that only phone model x can run game y and phone a can run game b though both game y and b are the same game names. I could be wrong but that is my understanding of it.

I have been able to get 4 of the new gameloft games running on my moto droid running 2.0.1. I use astro file manager. I was successful with Sandstorm, Nova, Gangstar West Coast Hustle, and H.A.W.X. All of them play perfectly. I download and install the sd files first and then install the apk. If it doesnt work uninstall the apk and try one of the mirrors. I usually start with the mirror on the bottom if the first one doesnt work. If that one doesnt work uninstall and try the next. Hope this helps.

This 10 games are port of Iphone games. Proc of the Iphone is an Power VR, same as the Motorola Droid ( And now of the Samsung I9000).
Gameloft have done their port speedly, so it was only compatible with Power VR processor ( Or it isn't smooth on other phone, like Asphalt)

You are wrong cos i managed to get all the games working on my Motorola Milestone(GSM Droid, Singapore) I have Gangstar, Assassin's Creed, Hero of Sparta, Real Football 2010, NOVA, Sandstorm, Asphalt 5, Dungeon Hunter,Let's Golf and HAWX all working on my milestone. They all work smoothly may be due to milestone's Graphic Card(Same as iPhone so perhaps Optimized performance??)

Anyway if you install and they say it's not official version of something like that, put your phone into plane mode then install it. they will prompt you to on ur wifi. Just on it! and wait then .... It works! At least for me... Hope this helps.

As I said that is what I was reading and was not stated as fact just information being passed along that I had see elsewhere.

Many of us with Snapdragon processors (EVO 4G, Nexus One, Incredible, etc.) have been having trouble with Gameloft games. Someone contacted Gameloft about this and they said:

Hi!

Now we fixed Ashpalt 5, Let's Golf, Nova and Uno HD+ games.

The other games will be fixed within 2 weeks.

So if someone get's these fixed versions and posts them on this forum that would be very helpful. Thanks!

i have the EVO and would really like to get Gangstar running. right now i have tried to install the sdcard.zip and then installed the apk, also tried with airplane mode... also tried just the apk and then letting it dl but it went to 100% and just sat there forever... so not sure what else to try. any help would be appreciated. can someone please zip or rar up their ganstar folder on the sdcard and post please? thanks a lot.

PS. i have golf, hawk sniper and dungeon all working great! Thanks

For Gangster, I installed the .apk and SD card data, and it worked. It might have went to the download screen again, but it finished quick ( I don't really remember). Just wait a bit at 100%. Keep trying, it will work eventually (I think!).

How did you get Hawx to work? Did you buy it? My dad can't get it to work on his Droid, and I can't get it to work on my Incredible. Thanks!

i'm having trouble also with HAWX on Milestone....after downloading the SD files from the game, it starts and then automatically return to homescreen. Any hint?

EDIT : Uninstalled, deleted HAWX folder, put the downloaded SD files, reinstalled and it worked just fine

Used to play this game on PC....so it's hard to control using accelerometer lol!

Wow, I can't believe I didn't try that! I tried that for NOVA and Modern Combat, but not Hawx because it let me download and start it regularly. So I tried that method, and it worked! Thanks.

Now I just need to demo Modern Combat, and I have tried them all. Anyone get this to work on an Incredible or another Snapdragon phone?

Hello I'm also from Singapore here and also on a Milesone. I cant seem to get Gangstar wroking as it hangs at the downloading screen..... COuld you share with me the apk and cache you used? Best if on mediafire. THanks!

does anyone have the sd card data for nova. Im using my evo and really want to get NOVA working. Cant wait for the cache files for sandstorm and HAWX as well. Gangster and asphalt are working great but NOVA = fc or automatic close, and its not recognizing the folder that is posted on here

All gameloft games work for me. I have noticed that specific versions of games, only work for specific phones. Most versions for me seem universal..but it took me about 30 minutes looking online for the right version for Dungeon Hunter (v3.4.7 for Droid 1), but once i had the right version worked like a charm for me. So far I have tried to get a gameloft game through their website..but with much frustration of them sending me the wrong version, customer support was terrible, very rude, and still never helped me at all, and wouldnt refund me my money when I asked them since the APK they sent me through txt did not work.. I have turned to other alternatives to getting their games.

In my opinion if its not downloading the right files, you need the correct version of the apk for your phone. I do not know which version is for which phone, but you can look on a search engine to find that.
