Comment: I don't have an iPod. Never felt the need to have one since I have my PPC. There are some great software packages made to play mp3's on the PPC. The build-in media player is a good basic player but blast away by the features and quality offert by other software packages. About pPod: this is basically the build-in media player of our PPC redesigned to an iPod skin and with a few features added to make it more user-friendly. It honestly looks brilliant on my iPaq. The features and settings are basic and lack of some settings like buffer-size or preload of files is sometimes causing trouble, especially when listening to streamed music. I think every user has to evaluate the value of software applications like this for himself. I think that, if I keep it installed - in what case I will buy/support it of course - it will only be to show to my friends that, despite the fact that they are my friends, still don’t know what PPCs are capable of. Call it a software gadget...

very cool program... works great on my XV6700 with WM5.

At first when installed the prog. on SD, I got some problems like freeze many times and menu/display on ppod doesn't show up correctly after device turn off & on again. But when I remove the prog. & install it again on main memory, it seems those problems are gone.

It's very cool, just like having an iPod.... that I never had... thanks for the cool program...

I have it..this is not an iPod..even close

It looks lik an Ipod to me.



To avoid any legal issues from Apple they have placed the buttons on the bottom and changed the name from pPod to pBop (I think).

As far as I can tell the program functions perfectly. It does what I want it to do, play my MP3's from memory card.
