I have a Dell X51V running the cracked version 1.1.095. Is the above
(slingplayer_ppc_1.5) for the X51V ?

When I did the last crack I seem to remember replacing the original EXE
file with the cracked. Is the above a complete new install?

How do I create one so I don't have to go into file explorer every time to run the program?

Many thanx for this! Been looking for this 4 a while.
Tested working fine (no oddities) on my T-Mobile MDA Vario II and my slingbox original.

A little story - my earlier usage (30 day trial) of the slingplayer mobile got me into some serious trouble and a $3400 roaming data charges phone bill! That's no exageration.
I'd racked up over 300MB over 3G in a foreign country and thats what they tried to charge me!
I talked T-Mob round to dropping the charge in its entirity by feigning ignorance and denied using that much data!! I had to argue for a while, threatened to leave them, and they just waived the whole bill!!
Their fault for charging that much for roaming data in the first place.
Next time I go abroad I'll be A LOT more careful & watch TV over a wifi hotspot, not 3G!
Thats a lesson for everybody - Don't use your Slingplayer over 3G / EDGE if you're going abroad, you'll be surprised how quickly the megs rack up.

I'm having the same issue. Not a huge problem, because you can find the app using the "File Explorer", but it's worth noting.

Creating a shortcut in your programs folder:

You may find that you need to create a shortcut to have easy access to launch the application. To do this, do the following…

Find the application/executable on using your devices “File Explorer”

Tap on it and hold down

Select “Copy”

Navigate through to Device\Windows\Start Menu\Programs

Scroll down to the bottom of the list, get the free white space.

Tap and Hold Down

Select “Paste Shortcut”

Can we get a Smartphone version of Slingplayer 1.5? That would be great if it was possible.

Welp, I bought a slingbox solo about 2 months ago, and I was pretty upset when I found out that the windows mobile slingplayer client was NOT included with the purchase! They want an extra $30.00 US. What a bunch of garbage!
I was using the trial from their site (version 1.6[current]) and it ran out on my so I had to uninstall.
I tried the version posted here and it seems to be exactly the same..
It still has a green line on the bottom tho (just like the newer version does -- what shitty ass software, and they want 30 on top of the 150 for this shite, lol)
