Ain't working for me. First time I started it after copying cache I got menu screens. I tried to see something but no result (no error neither).

After i rebooted my WM6 (TyTn II) i started to get User account deactivated -message.

Installation of the CAB-file:

1 INSTALL SprintTV CAB in PPC
2 If when trying to run it you receive ERROR:
"The file 'SprintTV' cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found. If the problem persists, try reinstalling or restoring this file."
Then SprintTV is most probably NOT supported on your device. Uninstall it and hope that they will make a compatible version soon.
3 RUN SprintTV until you come to MAIN MENU
4 EXIT SprintTV
5 DELETE folder "\Program Files\SprintTV\cache"
6 UnRAR folder "Cache" to "\Program Files\SprintTV" on your device
7 Use directional button UP/DOWN to adjust VOLUME
8 Have fun!

Thank you Lord Yuz!

A .CAB file a day, for mobile users on the way, keeps installation problems away...

< .CAB file(s) added to opening post. > - unless specified all .CAB files are Rapidshare links

Why should one install a CAB-file?

- direct download/install to the device, without polluting desktop PC by useless installed files
- CAB files are trusted. no viruses, no trojans

Look HERE to find out how to install a .CAB file

Hi,

I got the error message when I installed this on my Axim x50V with WM6 so I am not sure if it is the model of pda or the vga screen.

Looks like a nice app tho.

This program doesn't work very well on VGA devices :(

Yes those "temporarily unavailable" errors I understand are the channels that are temporarily unavailable probably due to too many users on those. I will look for a way to unlock those exclusive subscriber items but that will be a separate release, perhaps when an update is made to the program itself.

I think this was unique in your ppc and it works fine in mine without missing cache after soft-reset. Occasionally if the program stuck, it could clean out the cache directory and that is one more reason you need to hang on to the cache and update it if necessary since you obviously does not have subscription and Sprint will not resent the channel lineup. As far as installation goes, it CAN be installed to storage card but you have to do a few steps due to the fact that the installation cab was extracted from HTC extended rom and it was expected to be installed to the main memory by initial setup:

1. Double click the cab and select installation to memory card.
2. After installation, you need to go to \Program Files directory and grab SprintTV folder and manually copy it to \Storage Card\\Program Files directory. That is all you need to do as the registry was setup that way except the actual installation went to the main memory anyway. You can also uninstall successfully without any further action. If you select storage card and do not do step two, the program link and registry will not work properly!

Remember when it is out to the wild and eventually Sprint will catch up (wonder all those bandwidth and no revenue  ) and starts to disable them in the near future...
