is there any standalone app doing the same job?

Extract A2DP.exe from it and use it as a standalone app (I'm currently using it like that).

No problem at all calling it in scripts like morescripts too :o)

Enjoy.

+1 on that. Read the documentation.
Today screen app makes my ppc soft reset and screws up my today screen when it doesn't reset.
A simple shortcut made with SK Shortcut Manager

i.e. "PATH\A2DP.exe" -a2dp:on -bluetooth:on or "PATH\A2DP.exe" -a2dp:off -bluetooth:on works great.

From the documentation:
Code: Select allA2DP.exe
You can execute this module directly. The
supported parameters are:
A2dp.exe –bluetooth:on|off [-a2dp:on|off] [-spk]
[-switch]
Parameters:
Bluetooth enables/disables the Bluetooth radio
A2dp enables/disables voice routing to headset
Spk enables/disables speakerphone
Switch enables/disables A2DP
Using A2dp.exe without parameters is the same as
using the –switch parameter.

MUCH better than setting stereo headset manually although I find that I have to turn my BT on FIRST and then run my shortcut or hit the shortcut twice. I think that the BT needs to be on for a few seconds before A2DP initializes or whatever but still works great. Once you have the shortcut in place, you can assign it to a button.
